Janet 'JANE' Igah is a Nigerian-American multi-disciplinary artist with her sixteen-year career spanning fashion e-commerce styling, merchandise planning, interior styling, public relations and publishing when she became an editor in 2010. Starting out as an assistant, Jane has been privileged to assist major stylists on the sets of Vogue Russia, Vogue Australia, Z!nk, Claire's Accessories, Dennis Basso MBFW, and Footwear Plus magazines before becoming key stylist to her own clients such as Tailor Byrd, Neiman Marcus, JC Pennys, Century 21 and The Made Hotel.
With an ever-growing knowledge of the business, Jane can confidently contribute to the growth and creativity of any team. She is inspired by divine encounters, art, family, African and popular Western culture, as well as a lot of Steven Meisel's photography. She also admires the works of legendary stylists Lori Goldstein, Patti Wilson, Grace Coddington, and Katie Mossman as well as younger, but still established stylists like Sally Lyndley. With each new project Jane endeavors to push the envelope further than the last.
With a love for writing and curating everything from art to fashion, Jane soon became an editor conducting interviews and covering events for Raine magazine in and around New York City interviewing the likes of Paris Hilton and produced shoots and events around issues surrounding Priyanka Chopra, Consuela Vanderbilt-Costin, and Kendall Jenner. After working as the Style Editor at Raine Magazine for over half a decade, she moved on to be the Founding Fashion Director at Cool America magazine for another one and a half years before launching her passion project, The DOE Online, est. March 2018 as a creative outlet and resource for fashion stylists. Jane currently contributes to various platforms and lives and works in New York City with her Children.
